Description
Purslane, Burdock Root and Plantain Leaf herbal tincture by Rhodes Herbs — from seed to shelf, grown and made in small batches. 1 fl oz (30 mL), made with alcohol.
About these herbs
Three humble, hard-working plants share this bottle. Purslane (Portulaca oleracea) is a succulent garden green eaten around the world, with a long record in traditional medicine and a growing body of published research on its traditional uses. Burdock (Arctium lappa) root is a time-honored “alterative” that herbalists have used for skin and general cleansing support, recognized in Health Canada’s system as an ingredient in licensed traditional products. Plantain leaf (Plantago major) is the familiar lawn “weed” that folk herbalists on several continents have traditionally applied and taken for skin, mouth, and throat comfort. Combined, they represent the heart of folk herbalism: common plants, carefully gathered and simply prepared.
Suggested use
Shake well. Adults: take 1–2 droppersful (about 1–2 mL) in a little water or under the tongue, up to 3 times daily. Start at the lower amount and see how you respond.
