Description

Dandelion, Burdock, Plantain Leaf and Purslane herbal tincture by Rhodes Herbs — from seed to shelf, grown and made in small batches. 1 fl oz (30 mL), made with alcohol.

About these herbs

This is a true gardener’s blend — four of the most traditional plants in Western folk herbalism, combined in one bottle. Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) brings the bitter root and leaf herbalists have used for digestion and as a spring tonic; burdock (Arctium lappa) root is the classic “alterative” long used for skin and cleansing support; plantain leaf (Plantago major) is the folk remedy for skin, mouth, and throat comfort that the European Medicines Agency recognizes in its herbal monographs; and purslane (Portulaca oleracea) adds a cooling, succulent green with a long traditional record and modern research interest. If one tincture sums up the Rhodes Herbs approach — common plants, grown close to home, made by hand — it is this one.

Suggested use

Shake well. Adults: take 1–2 droppersful (about 1–2 mL) in a little water or under the tongue, up to 3 times daily. Start at the lower amount and see how you respond.
