Description
Burdock, Dandelion, Hawthorn Berry and Purslane herbal tincture by Rhodes Herbs — from seed to shelf, grown and made in small batches. 1 fl oz (30 mL), made with alcohol.
About these herbs
This four-herb blend combines burdock root (Arctium lappa), dandelion (Taraxacum officinale), hawthorn berry (Crataegus monogyna and related species), and purslane (Portulaca oleracea) — plants with long histories in Western and folk herbalism. Herbalists have traditionally used burdock root as a “blood cleanser” or alterative for skin and general cleansing formulas, dandelion as a bitter digestive and liver-support herb, and hawthorn berry as a classic heart and circulation tonic. Purslane, a succulent garden green eaten as food in many cultures, has been used in traditional practice as a soothing, cooling herb. This blend is offered in that traditional spirit — a whole-garden tincture bringing together roots, leaf, flower, and berry.
Suggested use
Shake well. Adults: take 1–2 droppersful (about 1–2 mL) in a little water or under the tongue, up to 3 times daily. Start at the lower amount and see how you respond.

Caution & disclaimer: This product is offered for educational and traditional purposes only. It has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Hawthorn can interact with heart and blood-pressure medicines and with blood thinners such as digoxin, so people taking prescription medicines — and anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding — should talk with their doctor before use. Purslane and burdock are also foods, but concentrated extracts are not right for everyone; check with your healthcare provider if you are unsure.
