Description
Mullein herbal tincture by Rhodes Herbs — from seed to shelf, grown and made in small batches. 1 fl oz (30 mL), made with alcohol.
About this herb
Mullein (Verbascum thapsus) — the tall plant with soft, velvety leaves — has long been a go-to respiratory herb in European and Native American traditions. The leaf and flower were traditionally used for coughs, colds, sore throats, and chest congestion, and Europe’s medicines agency still lists mullein flower as a traditional remedy for sore throat associated with a dry cough and cold.
Suggested use
Shake well. Adults: take 1–2 droppersful (about 1–2 mL) in a little water or under the tongue, up to 3 times a day. Start at the lower amount and see how you do. (In Europe, the traditional flower tea is 1.5–2 g in hot water, 3–4 times a day.)
